825 cab - Enamel or acrylic paint

Just interested in what people thoughts are using an acrylic paint as apposed to enamel eg easier to apply and clean-up and doesn't show scratches as much as enamel paint. Enamel paint might be harder but I find that they show scratches easier eg the scratches are displayed by their lighter colour to the base colour. I am in the process of painting my 825 cabs and want to know if acrylic would be OK for inside use.

Water base paint is fine to use as a finish.. It will still scratch as with oil base, but usually the color and sheen will be the factor of how easy scratches will show.. Make sure to use a good oil based primer over the enamel finish and any bare wood on your cabs ( no matter what the acrylic paint can says), after first cleaning and sanding..
